QBE Swans Academy Pre-Trials Training

Kicking Dynamics will be running sessions for boys and girls wanting to improve their skill level and knowledge leading up to the QBE Swans Academy Boys and Girls Trials.

It can be daunting for players when there can be up to 30+ coaches and 200+ kids trialling on each night. These sessions are designed to give players confidence, improve skill level and give an insight into what is expected, to help give you an edge on the night.

Program is designed by former Sydney Swan, inaugural GWS Giants Female Head Coach and QBE Swans Academy Coach, Tim Schmidt.

BOYS GROUP #1:

  • Day: Monday's 

  • Dates: 4th, 11th & 18th August

  • Time: 4.15pm - 5.15pm

  • Ages: 10-13 years old

  • Location: Robertson Road Fields, Moore Park

  • Cost: $149

BOYS Group #2

  • Day: Wednesday's

  • Dates: 6th, 13th & 20th August

  • Time: 4.15pm - 5.15pm

  • Ages: 10-13 years old

  • Location: Robertson Road Fields, Moore Park

  • Cost: $149

GIRLS

  • Day: Friday's

  • Date: 15th & 22nd August

  • Time: 4.15pm - 5.15pm

  • Ages: 11-14 years old

  • Location: Robertson Road Fields, Moore Park

  • Cost: $99

Boys are welcome to join both the Monday and Wednesday groups if they'd like more training time. Single classes can be booked for $55 per class, and will open for bookings at 12pm on the day of the first class (subject to availability).

Program will include:

  • 3 x 1 hour sessions (Boys)

  • 2 x 1 hour sessions (Girls)

  • Specific Academy type trial drills*

  • Feedback on drills

  • What the Academy look for

  • How to conduct yourself

*Some drills may vary at Academy Trial night, however, principles will remain the same.

Please bring:

  • Appropriate training attire

  • Appropriate clothes (hat, warm clothes, sunscreen etc)

  • Drink bottle

  • Football boots or runners (up to kids)

T&Cs:

All sales are final. In the event of extreme weather or ground closures where an alternative suitable space can’t be booked, we will reschedule a make-up session or give you a credit (pro-rata) to be used on our other services (valid for 12 months). An email and SMS message will be sent out with alternative arrangements by 2pm on the day of the session. Failure to attend the wet weather alternative (if available) will not give rise to a make-up session or credit.
